my laptop izit sound card not strong enuff? coz when i set my buffer .. lowest = 512.. still got latency.. so am i need a better external sound card for my lap top?

i facing one midi output problem
i'm not recording my midi but y there's some delay on my midi output>?
just like i use my m-audio midiman connect my lap top n play, there's some difference on da time i press da note and da output timing.. tis made i cant really play a song nicely.. anyone can help ...

if i just wana use my midi keyboard connect my com as piano, i just wana play music n not editing it.. wat software shud i use? live lite 4 can do tis for me? but it seems like got latency on music i played
