Re: Any tips for getting back to making music after a break?

Adonis and knotkranky, those names take me back. Nice to see some familiar faces around here. I suppose the most important thing is just getting to it and see what happens. That is what I did the first time and it worked out pretty well. I just need to get me some award winning products and I will b...

Re: Any tips for getting back to making music after a break?

Thanks guys. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or if there was anything that stood out as being an issue after being gone for so long and starting back up with a new computer. I appreciate the feedback. Once I get into it I guess I'll see if I have more specifi...

Any tips for getting back to making music after a break?

Hey there. I used to come to these forums all the time a few years back but kind of stopped using Ableton for a variety of reasons. I have been playing a lot of guitar and bass but due to lack of time and other issues I stopped recording a couple years ago. I think I also got a little discouraged fr...

Yeah. Wisp is awesome. He released lots of good free music but his newer stuff is even better IMO.

He put out some albums on Sublight, a label that sadly does not exist anymore. Not sure how hard it is to find that stuff but it is worth seeking out.

There is a electronic group that had to change their name from Panasonic to Pan Sonic due to this issue.

This is awesome. I just watched this one. No narration, just wild music and random nature.
I can think of worse ways to spend a half an hour. Thanks for the heads up.

I liked this too. I could go either way on its "doneness". On one hand, I listened to it twice and both times enjoyed it. It's a nice ambient track and certainly works as is. I could see adding more layers or even using it as an intro to a more beat oriented track but in the end if you thi...

This is great man. I just listened to the first two tracks and currently enjoying the third. I liked the harmonica (sample?) on Noise Haters. Enjoy most everything about this. Beats, melodies, little noises here and there. Are you playing the guitars or are they sampled? Either way it's bad ass. Tha...

Now that I've seen Superjail a few times I have to say I like it.

I hated it at first but it's totally surreal and violent. Great combo.
