How do I continuously record even when pressing stop?
I need to record audio and video simultaneously and have them line up after. I have a metronome going so I can't record the audio in Audacity. Is there a M4L plugin that records the output of Ableton continuously despite pressing stop and start on the playhead? Thanks.

Is there a plugin that triggers MIDI whenever a transient is
I need something so that every time something percussive hits, a MIDI note triggers. I can extract groove in Ableton and then move that clip into a MIDI track, but I'd prefer not to have to do that for every piece of audio, and instead audition audio on the fly and have it trigger a synth for instan...

Is it possible for Corpus LFO sync to work properly?
I've seen in past posts that it goes out of sync. Why have the feature then? Is there a workaround besides bouncing down? How can I manually automate what the LFO is controlling instead? Thanks.

Why is the pitch bend glitch in Ableton impossible to fix?
We all know about the pitch bend getting stuck at max or min when clip automation begins using pitch bend. Why can't Ableton solve this problem, and maybe a better question, what's your best workaround besides putting little automation dips in each MIDI clip? Thanks.

How to keep a recording going while stopping play
I want to record a session but I need to stop and return to certain markers. Is there any way to keep a recording going on the whole time in the background within Ableton? Thanks.

Something like Massive's performer that I can map to
I'd like a curve generator similar to NI Massive's that I can assign parameters to. Reason has Synchronus that is pretty similar. I know M4L can do this, I just can't find it. I see Mapulator and Architecht but I need something that involves more of say a 2 bar sequence. Thanks!

Metronome speed
I'm in 110BPM but I need 1/8th count. Do I have to run my projects in 220BPM then?

Marker starts jittering when trying to scroll thru audio
In arrange when I hold option and try to swipe thru audio, the arrow just shakes wildly and won't move left and right. I don't recall this happening, any idea what's the deal?

How are you controlling pitch bend with your laptop?
Hi, I tried assigning transpose of Sampler to a macro but of course that goes by semitones. How are you guys controlling pitch bend (and mod wheel) from your laptop? Thanks.

Working w/ a large # of stems: What if you want to chg tempo
I stemmed out a project from Reason and I have like 70 indiv stems I would like to work with, to tighten up each sound and cut reverb tails, etc. When I bring these stems in, auto warp sets them all out of sync from each other. So I have to turn auto warp off....but what if I want to try different te...

How many stems can you play without the disk overloading
I composed everything in Reason and have 80 stems--I don't want to group things yet because I want to cut reverb tails and get everything as tight as possible that was in MIDI. But the orange D is lighting up and nothing will play for long without sputtering. I selected RAM on all stems. What else c...

Anyone know why this would be happening? Ableton support is stumped, there's a first.

How to set up one sidechain trigger on a return track
I've heard a couple guys say they set up a return track and have the output set to 'sends only,' and just send all their tracks to that one return instead of using groups/busses and putting sidechain compressors on all those. But when I try to set it up, the audio isn't ducking the SC trigger I have...

Re: What's your fastest way of saving audio samples you made?
I really like cmd+J it saves me time as I usually label things in Ableton to keep them straight, this way the name is printed to the wav and it's goes in a folder in your projects called consolidated.....I copy it from there to my library and then for there to use in my sets. I can delete the origi...
