Thats a superb demo of the traktor controller - also shows how good scratch pro is too. This must answer the Live 8 versus Scratch Pro question - as I've seen posted on another thread, the question was asked "should i buy Live or Scratch for dj'ing with?" - So in my opinion, use Traktor for that ...

I guess i must be getting old, i learned to mix back in 1989 using 2 decks and vinyl. I like the hands on control which traktor gives and to be honest ableton will never be able to offer.

That said i'm not knocking Live. It's great for building tracks 'lego block' style, but not the best for dj ...
