We're going to a Apple testing lab next week to work out the minimal Specs for JAM

JAM looks so exciting that I might have to consider buying a Mac just to run it. The live possibilities are enormous so it will have to be a laptop.

Yes your correct, I didn't make it clear - Arkaos receives midi clock only. But in the tests I made Arkaos and VJamm were the only two that properly followed midi clock changes from Live. The rest were all over the place or didn't work at all. And yes its latency is minimal which is very important ...

OK, it's true that the other VJ software you've mentioned probably have the edge in effects and overall sophistication, but the one thing that Arkaos has that makes it the only serious A/V companion to Live - is a rock solid midi clock.
I use both on one PC laptop with Live sending midi to Arkaos ...

jahnlay, can you be a bit mor specific on how you manage this? How do you get the midi learn function in Stylus to work within Live?
Nobody is making sweeping statements we just don't know how to do it...

Also check out high end Acer's, very stable, light and very cool designs...

Does anybody know how to set up the UC33e to control Stylus Rmx within live? When you click on the little triangle and open up the controller possibilities, none seem to relate to the knobs and sliders in Stylus. And using Midi learn in Stylus doesn't work in Live.
Anybody managed to do this?

It can't be that difficult to make something much cheaper, and it would sell as more and more of us move over to notebooks and want to take our old souncards with us.
Oh well just an idea....
