Hi sorry i was a bit vauge ( i was night shift ) im wanting it for mixing with live i would like to be able to use headphones for mixing i was looking at a m audio one

Hi i have a lap top and a desktop computer and would like to keep all my samples and loops on a hard drive that i can just plug into whichever computer im useing . so will it work or will i have problems ?
