I guess you can right click the track and do "edit info text".
Seems to do the trick. Not to sure why I didn't see that before.

Yeah I spent an hour trying to get this to work in 8.2.1. Not working for me.

Disabling Automation Recording
I want to disable the recording of automation when recording. Is it possible?
My application is doing sound for bands live so the automation is annoying when you want to save a bands "live set" and then bring it back up and the thing is filled with automation markers that need to be deleted ...
