Does anyone know how to easily calculate the new key of a sample/bounced audio comp when the warp mode is set to the re-pitch algo and master tempo is changed? Like does a certain bpm difference equate to a full semitone?

I know that group EFX do not print to a flattened track within the group. Does anyone know of a faster way to print the group EFX to each of the tracks within the group than soloing each track and routing the group to a new audio track?

Alright that makes sense. So, no matter what the sound/percussion element is, groove templates are strictly grid timing based? If multiple sounds are on the the 3rd beat of a bar and a particular grid template shifts everything on that 3rd beat slightly after the third beat, then all of those ...

Does anyone know how exactly Ableton's groove templates effect midi and/or audio clips? In other words, how does the template know just to make the hi-hats have a little swing or that a percussive element is slightly off the grid? Are the groove template algorithms just based on precise frequency ...

I have some 808 Kick Drum samples pitched from C3-C4 in an instance of Sampler. Can I use the Key Zone Editor in Sampler to make sure each sample is played in perfect pitch my midi keyboard?

Does the Instrument Rack Key Zone Editor conform your samples to the range you set. What if the beginning of your range does not correspond with the pitch of the sample, will it automatically pitch everything correctly?

I see what ur saying. What if I were to go with running at 88.1kHz? Would the Ableton, or Pro Tools session for that matter, act weird if some of the samples were at 44.1kHz?

I do most of my production in ableton and was wondering if I should run at 88.2kHz or 44.1kHz. Most of my drum samples are 44.1kHz/24-bit WAV files. Some of them I believe are even 44.1kHz/16-bit MP3s. Typically I also move my productions into Pro Tools to do some vocal track and mixing as well ...

Haha...I know huh. Im just trying to refer my buddy to a cheap/smaller controller. Do you know if the MPK Mini comes with it? On Akai's website it just says for most of the products that it comes with a software CD. It doesn't specify whether or not it comes with Live Lite or not.
