Re: Best way to record drums in Ableton
Well they'll get used one way or another. What sort of interface do you mean? I have used mutliple drum mics before with a Firebox and they showed up as separate audio tracks in Live. But I don't have a Firbox or Firestudio or anything like that.

Re: Best way to record drums in Ableton
Hah you'll have to forgive my ignorance. It looks like no matter what I get will work. I don't need to multitrack anything at this point but I'm sure one day soon I will need to get a bit more professional.

Re: Best way to record drums in Ableton
That's really all I wanted to do. I've been looking at used stuff on eBay and Amazon. I definitely don't want to buy something new. But can really any mixer be used with the program? Are some brands better than others? I've had issues with a MIDI controller that I have where it isn't one hundred ...

Using CME M-Key with Ableton
Help!
I have purchased a small MIDI hardware, the CME M-Key (44 key), and I am having trouble getting it to work in the program. I've tried to research it, and I can't find any instructions as to how to set it up. I've just found people that say they've used it with Ableton.
