Good VST's for mangling/spicing up synths or audio (for mac)

I've been trying to download some good VSTs that can help to glitch up and mangle my synth sounds (or audio) but i havnt been able to find any good ones for mac... Ive found some ones that look good for P.C like Novuzeit Motile, ArcDev Cyclotron X2 or dlM Truc 2 but there P.C only does any1 know any...

ok so ive never really understood why sends and returns are so important? i know they help you put an effect on multiple tracks at once, but wouldn't it be a lot easier to do that just by grouping the tracks and putting the effect on the group? There is one thing i think they could help me with but ...

How to get really big sounding melodic kicks for a bassline?

Ive been trying to get a bassline like this

But i cant find any sample kicks or process any to sound that clean or melodic?? can some1 please help me? would it be easier making a kick in microtonic?
