Doppelgengar - Psychotronic Pokemusic
Hey everyone, I've been on the forum for a few years now, giving feedback, but mainly just picking up on all the great advice. Right now I could use some general feedback on these two tracks. https://soundcloud.com/doppelgengar/haunter-used-mean-look/s-XzQU6 https://soundcloud.com/doppelgengar/caves...

Doppelgengar
Here's some music I've been working on lately. This is the first album I'll be releasing in which I really knew what I was doing in Ableton, and I'm quite proud of the results, even though it isn't near complete yet.

kb, thanks for trying to turn this into a pissing contest.
Others, thanks for consider what information I was actually after, even if I don't understand all the concepts yet, and answering.

Re: How much can Operator really do?
I mean any MIDI sound, as in not sampled via an audio track. Yes, that includes almost every sound in other synths.

Re: Track Volum turns brown and in active
I used to run into this problem a lot. I belive if you right click on the track, there should be an option to return the volume to default settings. What's going wrong is you have already automated volume changes in the track. If you try to change the overall volume of the track when it already has ...

How much can Operator really do?
Hey everyone, I've been using Ableton for 3 years now, but I just noticed some of the capabilities of Operator. I didn't know anything about Frequency Modulation but then I bought Nick's Tutorials for Operator, and I feel like this type of knowledge comes naturally to me. My question is, can operato...

Shipping amounts to $230 so the total is higher than buying them locally.

Re: Adam A3X deal
Cant you get stuff way ay cheaper in the US? UK is normally a complete rip off! You might be thinking of Mexico. Okay, so on to my next question. I don't really know anything about monitor setup, besides the equilateral triangle. I currently work using an Mbox 2 Pro and Ableton. If I buy the a3x's,...

Adam A3X deal

Re: Ableton just for electronic music?
I've used Ableton for songs that are completely audio, songs that are completely midi, and everywhere in between. Once you get the hang of the basic editing features in Ableton, recording live sound is pretty straight forward. I love that ableton is basically a one stop shop for me.

Mixers in Austin
I'm going to be completing my new album sometime in the next month or two and I think I want to get it professionally mixed. Does anyone have suggestions for mixers in Austin that specialize in more eclectic, sometimes ambient music? I do lots of spacey stuff, and I don't want to hand this off to an...

Re: Do controllers store sounds from Ableton?
Because we don't want to set up a computer tower every time we play. Plus, the computer isn't built stable enough to take car rides. It'd just be a HUGE HUGE hassle.
