Yes both programs on the same computer. I tried this by using the virtual midi ports "midi yoke", but I didn't get Cubase working as slave/Live as master this way either. The audio output of both programs simultaniously works fine on my RME Multiface at least...

Is there a way to run Live as a rewire-master and Cubase as slave? That would be helpful aswell... Maybe by syncing them via MTC or MMC?

Everytime I try to open Live5.2 as a ReWire-Slave in Cubase SX3 I get a message in Live something like "VST has been disabled", and I can´t use any of the VST-PlugIns and VSTi´s I'm using in my Live-Sets. I started working on songs in Live and want to continue integrating them into Cubase-Projects ...
