if you want to scratch get a vestax 2300 or numark ttx, they have better motors. Technics are still the most reliable and best all around table IMO though, my setup would be 2x 1200s and 1x vestax/numark which i would use for scratching.

Its up to you if you want to put an effect on the master track. Maybe a little compression.

Use Dynamics on inserts Reverbs/Delays on sends.

A and B is for return track A or B, its the mix levels for the returns, both stereo.

Are you talking about the taste when you inhale with a Volcano or actually eating it as Deadly King Fu suggested? Yeah he doesnt even mention ableton in that interview, he says hes using battery 2 and protools. Who cares what he uses anyway his new album was waste.

on the fcb yahoo usergroup you can download a pc editor for the fcb which makes setting it up correctly a breeze. good luck.

trying something different

Trying some different style stuff (i normally make hiphop), made the synths in reaktor and chopped up drums and sequenced in live. check it out and see what you think.

Yeah thats what i dont like about the korg, it looks a bit boy george with those pink pad lights. The roll/flam stuff does sound cool though.

Trigger Finger has worked good for me, no problems at all and the pads are fine. New akai is probably the one to get though, If I was buying a pad controller now thats what I would go for.

Liveslice VST is nice for making glitchy choppy style drumbeats. check it out.
