Re: Deep Dubstep

Thanks for listening :)
I know what you mean about the strings but I like what they add to the melody, maybe they're a bit loud.
I thought the bass was ok but i'm mixing mainly on headphones, any ideas? It's quite heavily eqed?
Thanks again

another plus one for Zebra 2. It's brilliant. Easy to do simple things but as deep as the ocean if you want. I rarely use any other synths.

I have had this when recording knob tweaks with my SL.
On the Midi/Sync tab I changed the control surface from RemoteSL to None and the glitching stopped. The knobs still worked though.
Maybe try this?

I don't agree, I think it's quite easy to completely lose perspective on a good track and think it's rubbish.
If you get sick of it quickly then I guess it is lame.

Take a break and/or start something else. That's what I do.

Excellent thread, thanks for bumping it. :D
So it seems to me that it's really easy to apply different levels of swing to different elements of drums simply by applying different amounts of 16T quantization.
Sweet :)

This is not my experience, I use 320mp3 to DJ with live.
What warp-mode did you use? I use re-pitch for DJing
