Re: Connecting/Installing a behringer xenyx 802 mixer on mac
Thank you warrior bob, very informative And btw for anyone else with similar problems i just figured it out recently. very simple! just go into the Audio Midi Setup app, and turn on the IAC drivers, when i did that, THEN Live recognized the mixer as an IAC driver in the preferences, and now i can re...

Re: Can I change how my APC40 automaps effects and instruments?
ok one more question, I have a drum rack and i extend the track so each drum has its own track in session view right, for obvious reasons I would like the apc40 to recognize each track within the drum rack as an actual track so that it will automap, because atm it just skips over all the tracks in t...

Re: How viable? 2 Abletons (2 decks) running at the same time
i'm saying there's no need to...
you can copy and paste all the racks and effects you need and all the samples you need from one set into another...the only difference i can see is performance...is your computer faster with two instances? or is it faster just having one set that is larger than usual?

Re: Akai MPK Mini Automap Question
gucksdu this script helped a lot, once i figured out how to work it. but! the last time i played with it, the pads did not auto map to the drum rack...but i know its possible...you just have to figure out the coding, which i don't even want to look at it personally. I just troll this forum to find ...

Re: How viable? 2 Abletons (2 decks) running at the same time
i saw a vid of deadmau5 with what looked like two laptops and two apc40s...and if i had the money like i'm sure he does why the hell not?
but i personally think its a waste of time. ableton is way too functional all by itself to need another instance imo.

Re: new 13" MacBook Pro performance?
i haven't done any performance tests, but i believe i have the most recent mac book pro 13 inch...and it runs very smoothly. Opening a set with a lot of samples is sometimes laggy, but I just wait it out for a minute or so then its good to go. No problems. If you can help me figure out how to set up...

ableton for android!
Hello!
I heard y'all put out an ableton app for iphone what about droid?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
Because that would be awesome and if it was fully functional (wirelessly connecting to live, using multi touch and accelerometer as a midi controller, etc.) I would pay at least 10 bucks for it.

Connecting/Installing a behringer xenyx 802 mixer on mac
Hi, I've been trying to figure out how to connect this thing for a long time now, was wondering if anyone has connected a xenyx to ableton in mac os. I am either told to get asio drivers for mac (which I can't find and don't understand) or people say that Core audio and mac's internal audio drivers ...

Re: Behringer FCA202 and ableton
I have a xenyx 802 mixer, so I could plug the bass in there, and connect the fca202 with the mixer right?
even still, how do you set up ableton to recognize an external instrument? or will it just naturally show up?

Behringer FCA202 and ableton
Hello there! I am looking for a firewire audio interface to record my bass guitar, and this one seems to be the best from my minimal research. What I would LOVE to do, is connect my bass directly to ableton, and be able to play my bass and add some audio effects on my bass playing in real time, just...

Re: MPK Mini / Control Surface
one thing i noticed is that under control surfaces, mpk mini does not actually show up anywhere (under control surfaces i have selected MPK 25) , but input and output both have mpk mini as well as mpk mini editor 1 and 2 (which would be those presets correct?) seems like ableton doesnt recognize th...
