A little turned off by Ableton's business ethics though. They didn't mind putting in video capabilities in 6 and omitting more important things.

Live 7 seems to finally be at a very good stage, but WTF took them so long.

Live 7 seems to have a very good midi timing. I haven't tested it with external gear yet, but internally it's very good compared to 5.

I think Live is great if used by itself or in conjunction with other software. but BE PREPARED of you want to use it with hardware extensively. Expect some working around and then get used to it. And no I won't be using live any longer, even free, to bounce anything from it. I will rather limit myse...

I was just trying to alert Ableton that their demo thing can be hacked legally. Putting time limit on demos would be a very smart thing to do. Just trying to help.
