no... I really meant 'transposing': playing back a loop at a different pitch.

Advantage of using 48kHz source samples, even when you have Ableton Live running at 44.1kHz: you can play back the 48kHz sample up to a halve octave lower, and still get 44.1kHz-like bandwidth (meaning a frequency ...

always 24-bit (off course)
and 44.1 or 48kHz (48kHz sounds better when transposing down)

new forum suggestion: post your Ableton Live-produced MP3

Wouldn't that be cool? People giving a link to a track or idea they made with Ableton Live, possibly including some information about how/why it was created.... to share your enthousiasm, your ideas, to find a possible collaboration partner or simply to show off

Add me too!!!!!
I hardware-control and record the xfader movements
Much more crossfaders please.... it's just like DJ-ing: crossfading makes a track fluid

Allows for very smooth transitions between sounds.

I'd really really REALLY like to see more crossfaders inside!!!!! A-Z instead of A-B would be a good thing to start with.

You know what: I'll make this ...

If you're on windows: winamp with shoutcast plugin will do the job.
It helps when your card allows for flexible routing (my Creamware interface does this brilliantly :D )
