Arturia Keylab - Map current track sends from Keylab knobs?
Just picked up the Keylab Essentials mk3. I used to own mk2, so reasonably familiar with the set-up. Live integration seems better than before, which is nice! However... I'd like to be able to control the currently selected track's sends with the Keylab's knobs in a similar way to how the 9th fader ...

Live not retaining audio in/out preferences - OSX
I am using an aggregate device with Live (A&H Zed R16 + Echo Audiofire2) and whilst the device works fine, and Live 'remembers' this device between sessions, it does not retain the settings for the device's individual in/out channels. I have 20 channels in total, so it's a pain to activate them ...

download: midi mapping for allen & heath ZedR16 (os x)
i made a midipipe template to emulate the frontier design tranzport. it uses the zed's transport and other midi buttons, many with secondary functions via the shift button. mouse-free bliss!

Re: MPD32 forgetting global settings?
the firmware was updated about a year ago. you can download it from the AkaiPro site. follow the instructions in the manual to update, and then all global settings will be saved.

Re: How to achieve a Mouseless (almost anyway) Ableton workflow?
I'm almost mouse-free, but the current stumbling block is launching plug-in edit windows (i.e. clickon the 'spanner' icon in the header of a plug-in device box). Basically, you a cannot do this without the mouse. Support told me it is on the internal wishlist to fix, but that was almost a year ago.....

Still no shortcut to show/hide individual plug-in window?
i.e. the 'spanner' button on a plug-in. seems a shame that automap can let you power on/off a device or plug-in, but you can't map a shortcut to show and hide a plug-in edit window.this is one of the few operation that still forces me to use the mouse. almost everything else i can do with my Nocturn...

Re: Plugin window show/hide shortcut?
the show/hide plug-in window shortcut only opens/closes whichever plug-in windows were open orginially. i really need a shortcut so that i can navigate to a particular plug-in and THEN open it's plug-in window. i have contacted support who say they are aware of the shortcomings of the existing short...

possible to organise automap wrapped plug-ins in folders?
i'm using OS X is there any way to organise my Automap wrapped plug-ins into folders within the Live plug-in browser. I was able to do this for my VSTs by making folders inside Library->Audio->Plugs-ins->VST. is it possible? ---EDIT--- durrr - the automapped plug-ins were inside User->Library->Audio...

Re: can i midi-map the 'undo' function?
i have a Nocturn, so can use that to emulate a keystroke. would prefer to use a pad/button on my MPD32 really, though...
seems crazy that live doesn't have it built in, though.

this sounds great. is it possible to bounce-down sequences made with your set-up into regular midi clips?

roland tr style sequencing in live?
are there any plug-ins or live tricks that can do this? i currently use an Akai MPD32 to build my drum sequences. it's good, but i miss the ability to have a single button assigned to each step, and be able to turn them on/off in real time. The D16 drum machines (Nepheton/Drumazon) and the Audio Rea...

Possible to open and close plug-in GUIs via controller?
the keyboard shortcut for 'plug-in edit' only opens/closes and plug-in GUI windows that were already open, not the currently highlighted device, so they're no use - even with a controller that can mimic keystrokes. support say: "thank you for your input regarding the hide/show plugin shortcut i...
