It's not that it's out of control there is just not enough action when you turn the knob. It barely moves in ableton. It moves but not very much. Any ideas? Is there a place to adjust the sensitivity of the knob in ableton?

I just got an Axiom 61 and like it but it seems like i have to turn the knobs more to get the "action" i'm looking for vs what i used to have to do on my xboard. Is there a way to adjust the amount of sensitivity or action that you get in a knob in ableton?

Ok i fixed that but back to my original question how do i set my Axiom to preset 18 or 17 ? I don't see a button that says preset. Can someone please give me a step by step? I dumped the Live settings to the Axiom now i just have to change the preset. THanks

Ok i found the live pack tutorial BUT It's not listed as one of my remote control surfaces. I only see 3:
Mackie Control
Mackie Control XT
and Project mix. How do i get it to show up in the chooser? I see it above in active devices and i also see it as an option for input and output on remote ...

maybe i'm just being blind but i don't see the tutorial!! Could you post a link to it?

Just curious to what you guys think is the best/easiest to use vst to use with Padkontrol. Also, any distant seconds that are free? One other question...Should i be able to hear sound using the PadKontrol Editor? Just curious...i don't get it!

Ok...i just bought an Axiom 61 and can tell i am going to love it! My question though is how do i load the recommended preset 17 that is supposed to work best with Ableton? I also downloaded the enigma software for it but don't really understand what to do with it.I usually just assign whatever ...

i guess i just want to have a studio environment that is more conducive to making tracks. I want to spend less time clicking a mouse and more time tweaking knobs and playing keys. Ok...since i've already decided that the mpd24 is out...what about the Axiom 49 or 61 vs the KorgPadkontrol. I won't be making a ton of beats and right now all i have is an E-mu Xboard 25 and an old no frills 49 key keyboard that just happens to have midi...no knobs or anything fancy...keys are ...

Would you guys say the PadKontrol feels solid though? I don't want something that is "light" and "plastic" feeling. Anyone know who might have the AKAI in stock??? I'm torn because the PadKontrol seems solid too.

I have been researching the big "3" MPD24, Padkontrol and Trigger Finger. I decided i was going to get the mpd24 but now everyone is sold out! Is the PadKontrol just as good you think? Does it seem as "sturdy" as the MPD24 Looks? I don't want to buy a toy. I want something sturdy and well built ...
