lately i was experimenting with internal feedback loops in combination with Live's delay settings.
this seems to eat up processor capacity. the higher the delay setting the more impact on the processor (perhaps due to waiting for processed samples before further working on them). it might help ...

Recently I had a quite astonishing experience with rendering in Live.
The setting for the project was 32 bit at 96 kHz and so was the audio recorded.
