Re: [Live 10] Any Freeze Ups / Crashes on MacOS?
I've seen unexplained sudden crashes in both Live 10 and Live 9 lately. It might be happening a little more often in the former. I updated a lot of plug-ins so could be related. No ClyphX installed currently. I'm still on macOS 10.12. I am suspecting template or preference issues. Could even be hard...

Re: How to render groups properly?
Firstly, my OP is a bit all over the place, apologies. Basically Normalize OFF is not working as expected, Normalize on works as is should. I don't have any sends, I don't even have effects, these are premixed stems (not my tracks), it's just a blank project with audio tracks and groups. All faders...

Re: How to render groups properly?
SIt's not much louder but it is audible and according to the meters by about 2 db. If I turn normalize off then it's too soft. I think maybe you will have to accept you can't measure levels with your eyes. Likely the group output normalize off export is exactly at the same level as in the original....

Re: Preditor 2 half price currently
It must have ended shortly thereafter. I paid half that, in British £ though. My apologies for getting your hopes up.
It's not part of owning a Push unfortunately. I find it vital for Push setup, especially with plug-ins.

You can't, but it's a nice suggestion.ian_halsall wrote:Ok fair enough - stretch the drum rack upwards - like you can with the clip editor and the new instruments.

Re: Please explain Note Chasing to me
Then it should really work. I'm not sure if there are preferences that might affect which start method that works with note chasing. It might be you need to reset Live.broke wrote:Yes, I am on 10.0.2.mikb wrote: Are you on Live 10.0.2?

Re: Please explain Note Chasing to me
Coming back to note chasing and how it should work: I now tested shifting the note-on events into the clips boundaries with Note Chasing on and having the play head start after the note-on event. After hitting the space bar to start playing the clip, the two early notes were not triggered. Screensh...

Re: SSDs, HDDs, and lots of conflicting info
As little as I understand, I’ve gathered that making a RAID Array is particularly useful for creating backups to multiple drives while allowing their potential read/write speeds to be exploited. Is that close to a scenario it can do? I believe you can do either or, not both. That is either you can ...

Re: Please explain Note Chasing to me
I have a clip were a set of notes have their note-on event outside of the clip boundaries. When playing this specific clip, i'd like the "out-of-bounds" notes to play. This is what I would expect note chasing to do. Your expectation makes little sense. Chasing MIDI notes is about notes th...

Re: Why I prefer Pro Tools for mixing instead of Ableton Live
Good for you! I'm not however going to follow in your foot steps as I don't feel hampered by mixing in Ableton Live 10 at all. There are some limitations, but the only ones that have bothered me I've overcome by exploring the possibilities of the Live mixer or by using third party tools ( I use lots...

Apple releases quadcore 13" and hexacore 15" MacBook Pros
Apple is back in the game with quadcore "Coffee Lake" 13" MacBook Pros and hexacore 15" MacBook Pros with normal hefty Apple prices. This not to say they aren't competing successfully with the PC laptops perusing eighth-generation quadcores and hexacores, which is so far a handfu...
