I've been having some issues with ableton since i recently got a new laptop.
1)Everything will be chugging along fine and I'll be rockin' out when all of a sudden my midi inputs start lagging (i.e. I hit a note and it'll play between half a second to second later) and I have to restart ...

Hey all,
thanks for the response. I do have an external audio interface (Fast Track Ultra). It seemed the disabling all of the bloatware was my problem.
Denatku-the sweetwater guide seemed to help alot and alot of issues have been fixed. Thanks a ton for that.

Switched from mac to PC and live runs horribly Please help
Hi,
I just got a new laptop, switched from mac to pc. Live runs uber slow on the new compy and crashes alot. Any suggestions?

Old Laptop:
Macbook Pro 2.2 ghz core 2 duo with 2 gigs ram 32 bit(i think)-four years old. Live worked pretty well but reached a point where I was maxing out ...
