Anyone found a way yet? Can't believe that this wouldn't be possible...glitchrock-buddha wrote:Parameters not directly automatable. I assume there is some settings to enable them.

Re: Blofeld Control Device
Thanks for the ongoing development! Just take your time, it sure seems like the Blofeld is quite picky on what it can and connot recieve (ie envelopes). Storing and loading presets would be a killer feature, as it's exactly where I tend to be put off by the flakey (because of the faulty knobs) way m...

Re: stamina for producing full songs
Yeah, the thing is to make sure you're having fun. Not try to overdo things in the beginning, just play and add stuff, try to keep a certain momentum. It really helps not to worry about the details in the beginning, just focus on recording some (great) playing and deal with the sound later. That sai...

Re: Blofeld Control Device
That's great, I've been using the editor in Reaktor, but this seems a lot more elegant.
Would it be possible to include a Program Change, since the knob to select patches is all flakey on mine (a common problem I've read)
Thanks!

Re: i just bought absynth 5
You'll love it for years to come. In fact I just finished a track with six instances of Absynth and was really pleased on the diverse sounds I had on tap. http://soundcloud.com/bodo/sugar-coated Sure, the GUI always was a clumsy affair, which dates back to its pre-NI days, but once you find your way...

Sugar Coated
Had some fun today with a my beloved Monomachine and a couple of instances of Absynth & PolyKB II:

The great weather seems to bring out this urge to make some very sugary sounds. Enjoy!

Re: Does any1 know any mac plug ins that can stretch out audio?
With SoundHack you can use it's Phase Vocoding technique to create Paulstretch-like sounds. This (free) program has been around for years, and while a bit clumsy (no real-time processing, and a very shall we say 'workmanlike' GUI) it still produces some amazing sounds. Some of Reaktor's ensembles (l...

After years of drooling, got my Monomachine SFX-6 in two weeks ago, and finally got round to make a track with it. Sounds are about 98% (or so) MnM with a little u-he ACE (sweet softsynth I might add) at the very end. Started early in the morning, and a few hours later this came out, so some parts a...

Re: Live 8.2.2 out now
Weird, sometimes I can't activate the Metronome any more, neither on the APC40 with it's dedicated button, nor on the GUI. Liking the new M4L features, but I'm sad that a lot of the earlier patches can't find the parameter destinations any more (e.g. 3X Parameter Sequencer). Ah well, the price of pr...

Re: Layering sounds
Well, I disagree, layering can be just the way to achieve a unique sound, especially when it comes to bass and pads, just make sure they each got their own frequency spectrum, so you can deal with the added 'mud' that can creep in. Layering percussion is a lot of fun, especially combining electronic...
