I just got it to work. Turn Sync and Remote options on once you have mapped the MIDI controller in the preferences menu. Then you can click the MIDI icon in the set, hit or twist a parameter and it will assing itself to the option...

any luck in getting this to work with Live 7? Doesnt work for me with the new axiom for me

Im having the same damn issue...

I can get things to play easily, but cannot map trigger pads or the knobs from the axiom to anything in Live...help

Alex at ableton already knows about all of my issues. I was told that Ableton will have a fix for Windows 2000/xp using the EMI 26 this week, but I havnt seen anything come out yet. I have finally gotten my laptop to work properly with the onboard soundcard, so the EMI is about 2 seconds from gettin...

Yeah, mine is not working well with ASIO drivers, and I know that ableton has been working hard on perfecting integration of the software w/ all sorts of different hardware profiles. Perhaps a new patch will help me out....

Any news on another patch release for Live 1.5?
Any estimated date? Maybe drop us a teaser of what bugs ableton is working on??? :)

Using dirx audio drivers because I got feed up with ASIO and my EMI 2/6, but I really would like to have mulitple outputs.

I just would never ditch my decks....doesnt help that I cant get live to work well enough where I would gig w/ it. Too many little hiccups and audio noise shit coming through. I have a EMI26 too and that doesnt help. More power to finding a way to be different that just the average plate spinner tho...

I have been fucking around w/ system optimization, updates, ASIO vs. mme/dx and all that and I still cant get Live to just play one of my tracks w/out some sort of regular hiccup or dropout (like every 16th bar) happening sometime during the sessio...

Live on Sony Viao out to Emagic EMI 2.6, where all 6 outs are routed to a Mackie CFX12, then I use one pair of the EMI routed to the heaphone port on the Mackie, and thats my que bus...

Even better, have the crossfader assignable, and then allow you to make groups, so so you can cross fade track 1 & 4 into tracks 2 & 7... that would be pissed.

I have the same problem. Its a bug w/ live.
Just open up your samples in another sound editor, like sound forge, and then "save as"
Load up the newly saved file and your all set. It sucks I know, but it works...
