I know from the numerous posts on this subject that I am not the only person frustrated by having .asd files showing up amongst .wav files in Windows folders. The following method is the best fix I know of (so far) to still Have Live create the files, but hide them from Windows folder view.

I think I've solved the problem for now, slicing the audio file to midi first then triggering it works fine as I can now quantise the parts, whereas when they were audio files triggered I couldn't do anything with them.

Currently I am recording sounds triggered from my MPD into Live, but cannot get the quantise feature to work with the audio, does Live only support quantising MIDI? or is there something I'm missing here...?
