Re: No audience
Take your shit live or sync it with films, promos etc. I have even started doing music for corporate videos / presentations This is a great tip. The key to surviving and thriving as a musician is to diversify. Check out sites like audiojungle.net where you can sell sounds and tunes for commercial p...

Re: Converting Acoustic Drums To Electric
I actually just did this a couple of years ago. It works very well and is relatively cheap too. My suggestion would be to order an Alesis Trigger IO and follow the steps that are laid out on this site: http://www.edrums.info/acoustic_1.htm Mine came out very nice and cost probably a grand total of $...

Re: Battlefield 3
Yeah, that is a bummer.
I play on PS3 so I have lower-res graphics and scaled-down maps but the game is still fun as hell.
Finally getting to know the jets pretty well. So glad they brought them back for this game

Re: I need some Wobble-Tuba 4 a new Dubstep-Metal composition
What's you need to do is get one of those poi dancers to swing some wired mics around the room. I'd keep a fire extinguisher on hand because they'll most likely try to light the mics on fire. For stutter edits wing a dodge ball at them from various angles. This could be the best post I have ever re...

Re: Is all of the APC 40 hate justified or just gear-head rants?
i saw one for 200 at guitar center over laborday.. the 40 not the 20. does this mean akai has something newer in the works? an apc40 number2 or something? I was wondering the same thing but the consensus seems to be that there is nothing in the immediate future. If anyone is on the fence with the A...

Re: Is all of the APC 40 hate justified or just gear-head rants?
Don't believe the negative hype. I got one about a month ago after asking some people here and I couldn't be happier. The best part is that through custom scripts and mappings I am finding unique ways to use it that suit me perfectly. I have played with the launchpad and while nice, it simply does n...
