I propose a "Launch By:" menu in the Session Clip View. The options would be: All (default), Scene and Follow. MIDI-launch, mouse-launch & key-launch assignments on the clip would all work the same as they do now regardless of the setting.

I have had MIDI jitter, sometimes seconds-long, when I tried to send MIDI Out from Live into another PC (both systems are WinXP 32bit). So I believe this is strictly an issue with Live.

My solution: An old copy of Sonar on the MIDI-receive pc. Perfect!

I would just ask whether the OP has checked all of the individual tracks in the mix for low frequency content, making sure that ensemble instruments are not stepping on ultra-low kickdrum and bass tones (75-120 Hz or so).
