Re: Keeping a slim and tidy project folder
Best thing to do is a simple test : just one big file, use a small part, collect and save and check the size of the project. So, I have now done a simple test and came to the conclusion that "Collect all and save" does not delete unused files. This will have to be done manually by using t...

Keeping a slim and tidy project folder
Hi! I've been trying to get my head around the "Collect all and save" feature, and I'm stuck on a question. Let's say I import a long audio file from an external source. If I hit "Collect all and save" I will make sure that this audio file will be available in my project folder, ...

Re: Re-join audioclips
So, I'll try and explain... Here's screenshot of an audio file I have cut up. The higlighted part is an edit I want to keep. To the left there's another edit I want to remove. http://imageshack.us/a/img41/3076/4mjo.jpg If I drag the end of the unwanted edit I have to meet the other edit exactly. Oth...

Re: Re-join audioclips
Well, I guess it does the trick, but as far as I understand it creates a new audio file. Or am I mistaken? If so it's really not what I am after. Surely there must be a way to remove splits? After all, they are just graphical as long as you don't move the audio around.Galt wrote:ctrl+J.

Re-join audioclips
Coming from DAW:s like ProTools and Cubase I have now switched to Ableton. There is one thing that irks me, however. Let's say I have a rather long audio file. For various reasons I have cut this audio file into chunks, using CTRL + E. I have not moved or altered the separate parts, though. I have j...

Re: Is it possible to merge audio clips?
Coming from DAW:s like ProTools and Cubase I have now switched to Ableton altogether. I have one thing that irks me, however. Let's say I have imported a rather long audio file. For various reasons I have cut this audio files into chunks, using CTRL + E. I have not moved or altered the chunks though...
