Re: Set loop points for multiple clips (e.g. multitrack drums)
Yep, seems ridiculous this isn't possible. I use Live for creating samples so some I'll record via direct plus different mics. It'd then be nice to edit the end points all at once otherwise phasing issues could occur if trying to just guess it.

Re: Remember the Bloody Audio Interface!
Shits me to tears. Logic works fine. Not Ableton.

Re: Ni apology for Kore discontinuation, offers free packs?
So I got Sonic Fiction, Absynth Spectral and Paranormal spectrums. I wasn't sure about Paranormal spectrums but it's actually very useable and some very cool morphing sounds. Sonic Fiction is also pretty cool (as is acoustic refractions but I already had that). I already had a few of the others act...

Re: Do you know which patch this is?
Here are some random guesses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxzOzNN4Qcw or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVoSY961hjM best, Christian Thanks for the tips. It was closer to the first link as the interface wasn't hugely different (unlike the other one). I believe there were arps involved in the crea...

No i'm pretty sure it's not that one. That's the one where you don't have to have any talent at all to use?Hervé wrote:http://www.schwarzonator.com ?
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Do you know which patch this is?
Hi all, Last year I stumbled across a video of a patch (I think) was made with Max4Live. If not, it was Max/Msp. I've been hunting for this video for yonks and cannot find it. From memory, the software allowed you to input a melody and then it was able to harmonise other lines and then modify them t...

Re: Cool experimental music made in Live
@rdomain how do you find kp2 and its effects? I wonder if its better sound quality then ableton effects chained together. or is it fun factor and ease of use that makes it cool? There's definitely some cool fx but it's more about the interface which is actually excellent for realtime control which ...

Re: Logic Studio 9 vs Ableton live 8 Suite
As an entire pack, Logic is very impressive but Live has it's unique tricks you can utilise. I run both. For me I need both really. Depends on what work you're doing. Whether you need a linear or non linear workflow. For live use, def live. For serious production I'd lean towards Logic.

...I tend to put it up and down or at least play with the reverb, which makes mix more interesting. I really like that video you posted, great stuff man, enjoyed specially 3min up to the end. What effect you are using in there? Is it alesis airfx or something of that sort? Yeah that's cool to do. A...

It'd be perfect for Whistler! I was scraping my bottom bracket with the Sunday heaps over there with all the steep rockrolls etc. I'm def planning on going back. Loved it there. It's just a long way from Australia!
