Hi All
I've been looking at adding a midi keyboard to my setup even though I own Push 2. I was looking at the new Keystep 37 and it has a neat "strum" feature, I wondered if this is possible with Push 2?

Reverb delay on Send/Return
Hey all I have an issue when I put an effect on a return channel (typically a reverb). Obviously I set to 100% wet. When I then dial in some reverb on my drum tracks I'm not hearing the reverb like it should be if directly on the track, it just sounds like a delay, almost asif pre-delay was set very...

BUS tracks in Drum rack
Hi All
Can I BUS together 2 channels inside a drum rack? Ie I have a drum kit loaded into a drum rack, I want to compress/clip the kick and snare together. The only workaround I know of is pulling those tracks out of the rack but ideally I would like to keep them nested in the rack.

Re: Exporting individual tracks
Yeah that’s just the first part ie I can export the tracks fine. The problem I have is reimporting those rendered tracks to a blank project for mixdown. They are all out of time and need warping/stretching to get back in sync

Exporting individual tracks
Hi all
I'm trying to bounce my project to individual audio tracks to move to a brand new project for mix down. All the tracks are warped all over the place and it's taking ages to adjust each one.
Is there a better solution to this as it's incredibly time consuming?

Thanks mate I appreciate it. I just wondered if there was a simple solution to this but I guess I'll have to keep swapping wires

Stream to desktop
Hi All Not sure if this has been asked before and I couldn't find anything relevant on google but is it possible to wirelessly playback my ableton project (running on my laptop), through the sound card that's plugged into my desktop? Obviously, I can just plug the sound card directly into my laptop ...

Re: Compressing Drums. Why Do It?
The settings you mention are likely to smooth out the kit to make it bit more even and I guess therefore louder
You would also parallel compress to make abit more aggressive and also some limiting to reduce any peaks

Re: Mid vs Side Eq on Reverb
Great post mate because It's a very powerful mix technique and I myself am always confused by this. The comment above is the classic "there are no rules when making music etc" but eqing in this way can really clear up your mix but it does really depend on what frequency content is in your ...

Re: Let's talk about the new 12-inch Macbook
Yes I totally don't get this product. If you need power, for the same price you can get a 13" macbook pro with retina display, if you need portability, for the same price you can get a 13" air with higher overall performance or for light tasks just buy an iPad with add-on keyboard.
