It also helps using the Spectrum plugin native to Live to see the frequencies you may not hear. I use it on individual as well as the mix track.

Yup, same here. My current project is about 130 tracks, Live runs well but moving tracks vertically is a pain.

This is one reason I love Live, there can be many ways to achieve your goal. I barely scratch the surface using rack chains but there’s a whole universe full of possibilities!

One easy way to effect each sound on a drumrack is to drop the effect right on the pad.

It sounds like the sample rate is the issue. But Ableton should play mixed rate files fine normally. What happens if you change the sample rate to 44.1? Does the waveform look distorted after you import the file into Live? You could try reinstalling Live. If that doesn’t solve it I would look into W...
