I would check the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, abit more expensive but worth of its price.
I use the Pro 40 and I'm very happy with it (using XP SP2)

Some guys recommend to record and play the audio tracks from another HD than the system I like to do this. Computers don't like having to access their system partition for file storage, really, so it make sense. Also, if you very rarely change the files on the system partition/hdd, your system will...

logic, cubase, and pro tools all have this now! also, mixing in ableton really needs to catch up to the competish... -1 1) For Ableton it does not make sense to copy other DAW's, but well to make the difference. Hi folks,
which tool do you use/recommend (open source) that ripps a dvd-video to make it a quick-time compatible file - to use in Live?
I tried a few, but I'm still not happy, as the movie is bucking or sound and picture losse their sync (when rendering with sorensen codec)
