Does anyone have tips on how to do this?

I'm new to Live and working in surround sound is going to be crucial... I've heard it can be done, but don't know how... Any ideas, links, tips? I'd like to figure out whether it's worth the effort or perhaps better to reluctantly move my music creation ...
