Negative on the Motu. Same behavior exist on an M-Audio Fast Track, NI Audio 2 and my Traktor S2. Doesn't matter. Always defaults to no device. It's on; it"s connected; It show up in the drop down box, it just doesn't save that preference. Very silly for such a simple thing (imho)

Yeah man, use it as a midi controller. I use and absolutely love my mpd18 and it causes me no grief whatsoever. Plug-n-play. Drum racks map to it perfectly, other things not so much, but with drum racks it doesn't matter a whole lot.

Go for it man, you won't be sorry. Put it right in front of you and make sure you get in the habit of using it instead of your mouse where possible. It is aliased. If you have a sine wave that is running at one frequency and it's being sampled at another you'll get that aliasing pattern. The actual audio is fine the problem is the picture of it. It is similar to a visual moray pattern.
