Re: Why can I not MIDI map the tempo?
yep, just doesnt "activate" the button when i click on the tempo box like it does for everything else. for example, in mapping mode the other buttons glow purple then kind of get outlined in black when you click them (before moving a fader/button/pot/etc.), but this does not happen for the tempo

I want a clip to not stop when i trigger the next scene
For example, how can I allow the white noise from my "intro" scene to whoosh over into the verse. I need my automated filter sweep to not just stop when i trigger the next scene...is this possible?

Re: How do I create a session set from my arrangement view
thank you...
that is about the only thing i could think to do, i was just hoping there would be some automated feature i was missing where you could magically play the arrangement and it would assign the separated clips into the session tracks...wishful thinking.
now i guess i will spend some time ...

How do I create a session set from my arrangement view
So I have been using Ableton for a while now to make individual songs. I come from a more traditional background so I usually record straight into arrangement view since I didnt have experience with session view, and I tend to previsualize the layout of my song better that way. But my question is ...

any thoughts on why? i mean i guess personal preference comes into play but i'm skeptical it would be to such an ...

Re: Opinions on playing guitar live through Ableton...latency?
I play the bass directly through Live sampled trhough a MOTU.
For my Live sets I use a MOTU ultralite mk3 FW, latency values in Live with 256Samples*Buffer is 6.78ms in:: 6.8 ms out
total 13.58.
I am not considering the unavoidable latency from Sampling and File transfer (FW, USB, etc.etc.etc ...
