i had the same problem as Winterpark and vmcjr1. and the suggested troubleshooting didn't solve it. I had already enabled the box and changed the midi channels.
As i found out now, in sound midi settings you define the sound range as well.

live does automatically store all the live recorded material (it stores it in the following folder: project - samples - recorded). Is there a way, that it automatically trashes unused audio material. that means, material i have deleted in the session before saving the session?

the rendering process in live 5.2 does not take my pan set up. It is all placed just in the middle. what can i do?
