I found that my Digidesign 002 Rack has a footswitch jack in the back. I connected a keyboard foot pedal to that input and I still can't get the looper to work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, my computer system is becoming a bit dated. I can't really afford to buy a new computer at the moment, but would like to upgrade to Live 7.

How would my old [G4 - Tiger - Dual 1 Ghz - 1.5 GB Ram] computer survive running Live 7?

What about the 1.8 G5 iMac? Would it be a littler better than the G4 since it is a G5 processor? It also has a larger monitor than I have now, which is 15 inches.

I'm still trying to work this clip management system out.

Whenever you create an empty clip, set the bank/program numbers, etc. etc. are you supposed save the empty clip with looping off or on?

And when you save it as an empty clip with the program change information and drag it back into Live ...

I know how to use the bank changes etc. to select the patches, I just want to be able to audition them before having to record notes to a clip. As it is now, you have to record some data into the clips, which is so time consuming.
