Re: Looper and ADA MPC Midi Controller
Thank you for your reply. I couldn't get it to work, so I bought an APC40. I like it so far.

Re: Looper and ADA MPC Midi Controller
Ok, no reply on that one.
I found that my Digidesign 002 Rack has a footswitch jack in the back. I connected a keyboard foot pedal to that input and I still can't get the looper to work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Looper and ADA MPC Midi Controller
I have a ADA MPC Midi Program Changer foot pedal, but I can't get it to work with Looper. I see midi input lights in Ableton and in the MIDI mapping it shows the foot pedal is being recognized. Does anyone know anything about this foot pedal? I don't own an APC40 or other controller with a ...

Upgrading to a newer computer question
I'm upgrading from a G4 Tiger to a G5 Leopard. The G4 has a hard drive with only music applications such as Ableton Live 6.0, Reason 3.0, etc. and various commercial and free plugins. What do you suggest would be the best transition to change everything over. I've never used the Migration Assistant ...

Ableton Live and Gearbox/TonePort DI/Gearbox PlugIn
Greetings!
I know this is not specifically meant for Ableton Live, but since music hardware and software go hand in hand, I was wondering if anyone could help with a new setup I'm attempting. I just bought one of the Line6 Gearbox/TonePort DI/Gearbox Plug-In deals that are going for $99. I'm using ...

Anyone use Live 7 with Mac G4 and Tiger?
Greetings!
Hi, my computer system is becoming a bit dated. I can't really afford to buy a new computer at the moment, but would like to upgrade to Live 7.
How would my old [G4 - Tiger - Dual 1 Ghz - 1.5 GB Ram] computer survive running Live 7?
Thanks for the input.

Michael-SW,
Thanks for the reply. I know the computers are behind, but I'm just a hobby musician and won't be running mega sets and/or samplers with huge samples. So you think the G5 iMac 1.8 Ghz would be the best for me? I plan to run Live 6, Reaktor 4, Battery 2, Reason 3, and Amplitube Live as ...

Which would be the best music computer?
Hi,
I'm a little behind the curve in keeping up with the latest and greatest computer. I have three potential computers to be my main DAW. I was wondering if anyone who knows DAW computers would give me your opinion about which of these three computers would be the best.

External midi hardware with Live 6?
Hi,
I'm hanging on to my external synths/hardware. In Live 6, does anyone know if the midi capabilities such as using an imported ".ins" files to choose sounds within Live have been improved or even implemented? I have found this to be frustrating having to create clips for sounds when other DAWs ...
