Okay, I had that PB so I can tell you that it has a powersaving feature that turns off the audio card every 30 seconds and when you start playing something it takes about 1 second to start up. Sounds small, but it is actually pretty bad if you want to apply Live...you know, LIVE. Also, the indigo ...

i love my motu 828mkII it works great.

but if you need only a single stereo out, go with the build-in it's quite good.
the indigo's are getting very hot - a friend of mine had a system crash because of that (maybe thats not very usual, but i'd not trust them, i neither trusted the hammerfall pcmcia ...

for me, i cant use reaktor session with live at all. i run a pb 1.33, and it gets pretty frustrating because it is just ready to crash at any given moment. even stand alone it is pretty frustrating. idk how it is on pc but on mac it is a waist of money on my machine at least

We do not split audio processing into different threads and this means all audio runs on one processor. But on a dual processor machine the audio thread and the rest runs on seperate CPUs, allowing you to have a higher CPU load without loosing the control over the interface.

good decision, since 10.3 there is no need for os9 anymore.
you should better focus your development to the 64bit support thru 10.4 (or maybe the full usage of 2 processors).

You better first try the behringer. Because the quality of the knobs are crap..

Feels like they break every time you turn one.

This ain't bullshit. The machine is great , cheap, looks cool.
But the rotary knobs are just crap..

set remote input and remote output to BCR2000(port1) this should work - if you move your fader in ableton now the led ring should follow.

i'm not 100% sure - but yeah i think a 1gig Titanium can boot OS9 ... i allready thought about buying one at ebay and selling my 667dvi.
(i like the design more then that of the aluminium)

i don't know much about 12''Pb - but i've a 15'' TiBook V2 (dvi graphixx - 667MHz) and i feel that not only the size is the difference, i think the quality of the display is sooo much better!! check this before you spend the money!!! i use the Pb as my main computer and 12'' would be to small for me ...
