When I group instruments, effects, etc. it would be nice to have in addition to, or instead of, 8 knobs, an X|Y control.

Also, could there be a setting where I could give the X|Y control focus and then use my mouse pad as an X|Y controller without having to use a mouse down gesture while moving the ...

Always helpful in getting the exact values at the exact times wanted. On a laptop, there's simply to much inaccurate resizing and moving to get the exactly desired values. For parameters with floating values or wide ranges of any sort, precision can become a nightmare.

If I open a VST instrument, but decide I want to edit the MIDI clip associated with that track, the first attempt to switch tabs fails and I get stuck zooming on the clip miniature view on the inactive tab.

To replicate:
Drop a VST synth on a track (I tried FM7 and Triangle II).
Add a MIDI clip in ...

I went from a new "Untitled" track and loaded a track with a name and my task bar still says Untitled - Live 8.0, but the set is loaded.

I use Yamaha hs80's with the hs10 sub.

The high end btw the 50 and 80's is quite similar. Lacks bass. The sub was required for work that included lots of low beats and bass lines.

clothing messes with the phase of certain frequency ranges of the signal.

check out the videos... the modulations and multi-mode filter make it another notch up. it's got flexibility.
