Sorry to bring up old thread, but I need some help. Trommelmeisters post was amazing and very helpful, tho I still haven't got my head around it. I didn't quite understand the last part about pitch and everything.
Basically all I want to do is record the sound coming from my yamaha e drums ...

it's off a guy I kinda know, for about £60. seem reasonable? is the version 6 still a great piece of software? or does it lack behind now

I may possibly buy a used copy of Live 6. I am just starting out in the area of home recording but am curious to know now that version 8 is out, would buying 6 be a bit of a waste of time or would it still offer alot to someone like me just starting?
