intel pentium T4400 2.2GHz
4 gig memory
running 7 32 bit

Motu Audio Express
APC 40
MK249C Controller

Nothing else installed and i get the problems with no VST's

I use the asio setting which doesn't allow me to change the buffer size. Is that normal?

i just ordered a Motu audio express more that ftp but seems like solid gear with solid drivers.

i'm not sayin all fast track pros will have this. i'm just sayin i had some sort of conflict we couldn't resolve i know heaps of people use them with no trouble. if your running windows 7 on an Acer laptop with the fast track pro i would love to hear from you but if not ...

@ shuutobi i will have to read up on the expanders but lets say i have a 16 bit track and i put a lil compression on it, then export as a 24 bit file.

will that new file will have the 24 bit dynamics?

where as a converted file 16 to 24 bit would only have the dynamics ...
