i had similar problems with my BCR in both outdoor gigs by a river (cold and moist) and indoor gigs in a sweatbox (alos lots of bass vibration) - pretty much whenever i used it outside my studio.

my solution was to ditch USB and connect the BCR by good old midi. has been 100% ever since!

ditch USB for midi where ever possible!

for me connecting my bcr2000 by midi stopped my whole setup crashing whenever it was exposed to a decent level of bass.
