Imagine a world where Live has vocal comping (+ built-in pitch correction) and Push 3 has proper arrangement control.

Live + Push would finally be usable for completing projects.

The current folder system is the weakest part of Ableton. No proper tagging/browsing/searching in 2019 is very annoying.

Yeah, if you don't ever need to quickly browse/tweek NI presets, then I can't think of much use for KK.

I wish Ableton had similar browsing.

Komplete Kontrol now allows 3rd party controllers (for 8 macros, presets, plugins, paging). My X-touch Mini was setup in seconds for that.

Knowing that, the Novation over the NI seems like a no-brainer, unless one really wants to see the images on the controller itself.

Definitely need vocal comp. But what good is it without proper hardware transport controls?

Can you report back on how it works out? The older version of FPort had issues (with Live), so I use a combo of xtouchmini and launchcontrol xl. Not ideal, but gets the job done.

Also, would a pad overlay work on the Push 2 if the functionality was included in an update?

Is it possible for Ableton to print keyboard shortcuts directly on the pads on the next version on Push? Or would the text rub off with usage?

Or would an overlay be a possibility?

Also putting DAW standard transport features on the next Push would be great.

I have to do a reset after (I assume) Windows 10 update bricked my older PC. I have Ableton, NI, etc... Should I do the reset option that deletes all files, and just reload everything from scratch? Or should I do the reset option that allows me to keep my "personal files"? Then download Ab...
