I've emailed Ableton 3 times over the past 2 weeks and have yet to get a single reply either! I'm trying to take advantage of the student price, but no one there will write me back. Did things work out smoothly for you after you called them? I'm in the US but considering a call over to Germany ...

Thanks! I guess I just need to give up then. Sad really. At least I'm no longer thinking that it's me doing something wrong (note to Ableton: you really ought to mention that this is not possible somewhere in the manual, it's an almost inevitable question for anyone trying to improvise...)

Is there any way to record live automation in session view? For example: I'm jamming live and I want to throw in a filter sweep over a set of guitar loops to give them a nice wah. So I drop a HP ...

My download version of Live 6 on a WinXP AMD64 rig recently started refusing to respond to spacebar commands. I checked the keymap, and it says the spacebar should toggle playback/stop, but it's not working!

I'm getting really sick of having to hit play and stop with the mouse...
