Hello, does anyone know how to get the touchpad on the remote LE to trigger samples or clips in Live 7? When i try to assign a midi kiey in ableton, it seems to only work with the note keys or Knobs on the midi keyboard, but not the touchpad... Thanks in advance..

create an audio track, choose the track the impulse is on as it's input, in the drop down menu underneath where you chose the track choose the drum


Thanks.. While that solves the prob, i think it would be more efficient if they allowed you to drop in effects to each pad independently.... maybe ...

I like impulse but the only concern i have is that i cant figure out how to apply effects to just one drum out of eight.. For ex, I want to reverb the Snare drum but not the whole kit... Am i missing something? I am a newb to live so i hope you more experienced guys can enlighten me

Everytime i use a VSTi in a midi track, the preset i was using changes to some default preset when i press "Play" or "Rec" an arrangement.. Example: I load in Bass4, press record and play, and the instrument preset snaps to Bass8... Can anyone help here? Its making me insane

When i use a Live drum set like the Montreal Studio set, it seems that the drums triggers are mapped to the C3 octave on my midi controller. How can i set the same drums to be triggered by the C1 octave on my keyboard.

I ask because i loaded some Midi drum files, and Live is putting all the drum ...
