Re: Sample Library with different bit depth and sample rates
TAREKITH: You have a good point. I may say after reading it, I decided from here that the best for me it will be work with 24bits/44100Hz. Thank you for your explanation, it helped to see the thing more clear.

Re: Sample Library with different bit depth and sample rates
Thank you guys for the attention about this doubt! I've started this topic because I've read so many opinions in other foruns, and couldn't find a real and concrete idea about this subject, what makes me a little bit surprise since it's a common situation (having a non homogeneous sample library ...

Re: Sample Library with different bit depth and sample rates
Strom, thank you for the answers! But I'm still confused about my doubt number 2:
I need to convert all my library at the same bit depth and sample rate and wen I make an offline conversion of my 24bit/96000Hz samples to 24bit/48000Hz, I have to apply some dithering since I'm downsampling. How I do ...

Re: Sample Library with different bit depth and sample rates
Thank you Strom for this nice explanation.
But I have two more doubts if you don't mind… You mentioned about working with 32bit, instead 24bit. What are the main advantages about this choice? I mean, it's possible to have more room to work at mixing and mastering, but in the other hand, that wouldn ...

Sample Library with different bit depth and sample rates
Hey Guys
I've reading in different forums, there are so many opinions and at the end I'm still confused... If someone could give some clear help about this subject, it would be great, really.
I have a big library with samples, many of them are 16bit/44.100, many others 24bit/48000 and some, 24bit ...

Re: How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
Pete, first of all thanks for your attention regarding helping me about this problem.
I've tried again to see if I'm doing something wrong but Live really doesn't alow me to put your device behind a instrument rack. When I try it, it says "insert audio effect after instruments". If insert your ...

Re: How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
Forgive me Pete but I didn't get exactly what you mean... Let me explain you what I'm trying to do here and perhaps you can identify what I'm doing wrong...

Re: How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
Pete, your device looks great but unfortunatelly it's not working... When I try to put it behind an instrument rack, it comes a message in Live saying "Insert audio effect after instrument" and I can only put it after the rack not behind it as you mentioned. Maybe because it's an audio instead midi ...

Re: How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
You are right, I asked and answered before you say yes, but there's no other way my friend
The instrument rack way you mentioned is a good one indeed but it's necessary to use a dial to do it... What I was looking for would be really a key button for a fast changing.
I didn't understand ...

Re: How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
Hey Peter.
It could be any midi controler, like a foot controller for instance. May I ask you one thing? If you have a midi keyboard and 4 or 5 midi tracks with different instruments in Live and you want to switch between these instruments (tracks), pushing just one button once and fast, how do you ...

How to change tracks with auto arm function in M4L?
Is there any Max devices with this function? I'm trying to find a way to change tracks with an auto arm track button enabled using a midi controler but I don't know how to do it. In the earlier versions of Live, it was possible to set auto arm on preferences, but I can't find it on this 8.2.2 ...

How to auto arm track on Live 8.2.2 - Help Please
Hi
I'm wondering how to auto arm track when selected but I don't know how to do it on this later version of Live. In the earlier versions, it was possible to configure it on preferences but now, it seems this section have been excluded from it! Why Ableton did that?? Is there any way to change ...
