The Echo audiofire12 plus the summit audio 2BA.
A good comprimise i feel.


Unless you need the extra inputs, don't waste your money on the echo audiofire. It will NOT sound significantly better then the mbox with the ...

Whoever said go with a new interface does not know what they are talking about. A motu interface by itself is not going to sound as good as an mbox interface with a quality preamp.

I was pretty impressed by blockfish. I think it is a better compressor then the abletons stock compressor.
