I would like to setup a live set where I can change routing, arming, midi mapping with the press of a button, or the launching of a scene. Any ideas? I think I can design a secondary system where a scene launch would send control surface commands to change arming, but changing routing and midi mappi...

I am really looking forward to this update. BeatMaker is really well done, and considering the limitations of the user interface, it's amazing!

-1. Vocoders are not very common production tools. They're way too specific. If you want a vocoder, go buy a vocoder.

agreed... not only dual monitor, but the ability to see a session and an arrangement at the same time!

I think it's unlikely - it has been discussed, but I dont think they'll do it - too much re-inventing the wheel and I really dont think it would be worth their enourmous effort but it's looking like Windows 7, possibly out next year, will be modular which means you will be the components and add on...

I would love this too, but I don't really see it happening. This is why I spent a lot of time turning my PC I run Ableton Live on into an appliance. Sure, it technically runs Windows, but you wouldn't know. It also doesn't store any data directly on the drive it runs on and I sheriffed the hard driv...

I don't know if the rest of you have been as excited about this update like me, but Novation FINALLY released Automap 2.0. Hopefully this isn't a repost.

+1, Vinyl timecode isn't just for DJs. Producers scratch, cut and mix all sorts of stuff, and having timecode support will let us lowly producers be hip like a dj! (sorry, got a little sarcastic there, but I really do want this!)
