150000 copies? that seems pretty unlikely to me, given the numbers on other group buys I've participated in, even if it will last until december. For instance, LUG has had a bunch of successful group buys, and the best one was 464 signups for cameleon. I suppose if you join in this group buy what y...

No. It is nonsense. Because he is proclaiming that the MPC plays the samples back differently, which is bollocks. What isn't bollocks is that the ad/da stage is different to a computer. Yes, that much is true, and that can be heard. But that has no bearing on the software side. The MPC is still doin...

Re: wahhhhhhh, i want my MPC back :(
fact: computers play samples like shit. dedicated samplers like an MPC have a much crisper punchier sound. fact: It's all in your head! no it is not. i noticed this when i had my mpc and still can hear it now with all the tracks i recorded from my mpc. the tracks hit loud. bd sample x played from t...

I'd go for the Reason 3 route. With a good soundcard, you could have a workstation, that you could then feed into your main machine to sample the shit out of. Saves having to bother with networking bollocks, and things always seem to sound different when they're re-recorded, even if they are digital.

Hmmm... Just noticed that I have to pay for a Mac version, even though I own the full version of Wusikstation 3 for PC. That's fucking crap if you ask me. Sure it is only 20 dollars, so for the price of a pizza I could get it. But its the damn principle. When you buy Ableton Live you get Windows and...

It's not right, but I can see how these things get out of hand. If society respected cops more, and the criminal justice system actually put criminals away instead of just releasing them with some slap on the wrist, then cops wouldn't be caught in this ultra-violent paradox where they're forced to ...

Do you have a wireless connection setup? Do your problems go away when you disable the wireless? I had problems also. It was traced back to either poor wireless management in the Windows software, or a bottlenecking issue with firewire+wireless. Without wireless connection active, the card performed...
