Thanks. Here's an update: After doing some more troubleshooting / research I have found that it was helpful to some to reset all settings in the Audio / MIDI Setup for Mac. I also reinstalled and reset all of my MOTU drivers and MOTU Audio Setup. One person even mentioned flipping the optical in/out ...
